The short version
-
Stored on your devices
Your chats, files, and memory are saved on your own devices, not on Okroh's servers.
-
Encrypted when it syncs
When your devices share memory, it's end-to-end encrypted. Only your devices can read it.
-
AI models don't keep it
The AI models you use answer your message without storing it or training on it.
Where your data lives
Your memory is kept in a private database on your own device. Okroh doesn't have a copy of it on our servers.
When you chat with Okroh or add files, Okroh turns that information into a compact form of memory. This takes up less space on your device and lets Okroh find the right details quickly when you need them.
That memory is then encrypted and saved on your device. It stays there. Okroh's servers don't store your chats, your files, or your memory, so there's nothing of yours sitting in our data centers.

Keeping your devices in sync
Use Okroh on all your devices, and your memory follows you. It travels between them end-to-end encrypted.
Okroh is available on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. End-to-end encryption means your memory is locked on one device and can only be unlocked on another device of yours. Nobody in between can read it, including Okroh.
Our servers simply pass the locked update along until your other device picks it up. Once it's delivered, it's gone from our servers. You also choose which devices are connected, so your memory only goes where you want it.

Your account and your encryption phrase
Your Okroh account doesn't hold your data. Your memory is unlocked by an encryption phrase that only you have.
When you set up Okroh, you get a private encryption phrase. Think of your account as your membership card and your encryption phrase as the key to your home. The account gets you in the door; only the phrase opens your memory.
Your Okroh account
Manages your subscription and gives you access to AI models. It never holds your chats, files, or memory.
Your encryption phrase
Unlocks your memory on your devices. Only you have it, so only you can open your data.
Adding a new device
Logging in alone won't bring your memory over. You need both your account and your encryption phrase.
-
1. Log in
with your Okroh account
-
2. Enter your phrase
your private encryption phrase
-
3. Your memory syncs
ready to pick up where you left off
Protected and resilient. Because your data is stored directly on your own devices and never on our servers, your encryption phrase can be safely regenerated through any device that holds your data if forgotten.
Using AI models privately
To answer you, an AI model needs to read your message. Okroh only works with model providers that don't keep it.
Every AI model available in Okroh comes from a provider that has agreed to handle your message only while answering it. They don't store your conversations, and they don't use them to train their models.
That's why you can switch between leading AI models in Okroh without worrying about spreading your conversations across a handful of different companies.
