Your chat history, memory, and indexed document text stay in an encrypted local database. Okroh’s servers don’t hold the keys to that database.
Sent to answer a question
Relevant conversation text, memory, and file context can travel through Okroh’s gateway to models on Amazon Bedrock, or, when Bedrock can’t serve a request, through OpenRouter to zero-data-retention hosts in the United States. AI replies are generated in the cloud.
The on-device privacy shield is on by default and replaces personal details it detects before text is sent, but it can miss information. Images are sent unchanged. Start with public or de-identified material and follow your firm’s policies. Okroh does not guarantee attorney-client privilege or legal accuracy.

Okroh is a general desktop AI assistant with memory. It isn’t an authoritative source of law. Check citations, facts, and every output before relying on them.
Can I use confidential client material?
Review your professional obligations and firm policies first. Encrypted local storage does not mean all processing stays on your computer. Start the beta with public or de-identified material.
What happens after I request access?
